The BMS Payment Reminders feature allows businesses using Busy Accounting Software to automate payment reminders through WhatsApp. This powerful integration retrieves customer information directly from Busy and sends payment reminders based on user-defined settings in the BMS portal.

How to Set Up Payment Reminders

To set up payment reminders, follow these steps:

Step 1: Log into the BMS Portal

  1. Open the BMS portal and log in with your credentials.
  1. If your Busy company is not yet linked with BMS, link it first.

Step 3: Access the Reminders Section

  1. Once logged in, go to the BUSY ERP menu in the sidebar.

  2. Under BUSY ERP, select Reminders to access the Payment Reminders settings.

Step 4: Configure Your Payment Reminders

  1. In the Reminders section, click the Reminder Create button to set up a new reminder.

  2. Fill in the reminder settings as follows:

    • Reminder Type: Specify whether the reminder is for overdue payments or upcoming due dates.
    • Frequency: Choose how often to send reminders (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly).
    • Message Template: Customize the WhatsApp message content, using customer name, due amount, and due date placeholders.

Step 5: Save and Activate Your Reminder

  1. After configuring your reminder, click Save to save the settings.
  2. Toggle the reminder to Active to start sending reminders as per the defined schedule.

Additional Options and Settings

  • Pause/Resume Reminders: You can pause any reminder without deleting it. This is helpful for temporary hold or adjustments.
  • Edit Reminder Settings: To edit an existing reminder, go back to the Reminders section, select the reminder you wish to update, and modify the settings as needed.
  • Manage Recipients: BMS allows you to filter and select specific customer groups from your Busy database to receive reminders, ensuring targeted communication.
